New Englander Thomas Sierak is a prolific pastel artist who enjoys rendering loving domestic scenes. When discussing his subject matter, Sierak states that that “Places and things may change around us, but that special bond that exists between children, parents, and grandparents, and even pets, never does.” Sierak’s medium of choice is pastels because it allows him to draw and color simultaneously. Sireak’s work has been published as wall prints, greeting cards, puzzles, and collector’s plates, and his work was the featured cover story in “The Artist’s Magazine.”
