A. Kowalski was born 1926 in Sopron Hungary. He was a student of the Academy of Budapest and during the revolution of 1956, before leaving Hungary and moving to Vienna where he now lives. Kowalski is especially known for his paintings of the farm-life from his native country and has won much acclaim for his works in several exhibitions.
