A. É. Marty (April 16, 1882-August 1974) was a French illustrator and costume and set designer who was creating Art Deco artwork before that movement had even been named officially. He published his numerous works in many of the leading magazines of his time, including Vanity Fair, Harper's Bazaar and Vogue, and his iconic movie posters are still seen today all over the world.
