Andre Bardet

French born Andre Bardet (1909-2006) was captivated by art from the time he was a child. For many years, because of his professional obligations, he rarely painted and produced very little work. Later in life however, he was finally able to return to painting full time, and as his experience grew, so his unique style gained a voice, making Bardet's art well known and very collectible worldwide. Bardet was primarily attracted by light in his choice of subject, and he painted from diverse locations, including Auvergne, Normandy, the Mediterranean and Greater Paris.

Bardet enjoyed many one-person and group exhibitions including those held at Club Pernod, Champs Elysees, Paris (1985-1988), Hotel Mercure, Clermont Ferrand (1988), Caisse d’epargne, Clermont Ferrand (1989), and Town Hall of Levallois in September 1988.
