Andrzej Michael was born in Poland in 1967. He studied European Art History while in pre-college in Poland. In 1984 he moved to New York and began studying oil painting. In 1990 he recieved a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from The Jersey City State University of Pennsylvania and earned his Master's Degree from the School of Fine Art at the University of Pennsylvania in 1993. After many very sucessful exhibits on the East Coast, Andrzej moved to San Fransisco. His work is both contemporary and classical in nature. He finds inspiration from the works of Robert Roshenberg, J.M.W. Turner, Andrew Weith and Maxfield Parish.
