Ares was born on the ancient isle of Crete. With the early encouragement from his teachers, he attended the National Academy of the Arts in Athens. It was here that Ares became fascinated with contemporary art, especially in the US.

Ares’ works have been a source of great inspiration amongst young artist. His works can be found in private collections in Europe, Canada and the US.
