Bernie Granados Jr.

Bernie Granados Jr. spent much of his youth in art galleries and museums, soaking up as much inspiration as he could from the old masters. This early education paid off, as Granados has since been the head of the Fine Arts Department of the Intertribal Pre-University Summer Program at the University of California, Irvine and taught at the High School of the Arts in Los Angeles. Granados's main influence is his Native American background, and he draws from this to create his artwork is a variety of media. His art has been in featured in the LACMA Exhibition "Native Artists for the 21st Century" as well as countless other exhibitions that have featured the talent of Native American artists. Currently, Granados combines his passion for his culture and his passion for art to try to help young Native youths cultivate their artistic talents.
