Bruno Pigalle was born in the Aosta Valley in 1933. He studied various art techniques while attending art school. He has taken part in many artistic-cultural shows. In 1960 he held his first one-man exhibition which was follwed others taking place in various cities in Italy. He has recieved acclaim abroad after his works were featured in shows in Tokyo, New York, London, Paris, Frankfurt and Brussels. Like many Parisian artists he reconstructs images of years past in an attempt to return to the old fashioned peacefulness which is no longer found in today's modern cities.
