Carolynn Mann

Carolynn Mann has been painting in Atlanta since 1985. She is a native of East Tennessee, she taught in different parts of the South before moving to Atlanta.

She has undergraduate degrees from Hiwassee College and the University of Tennessee, as well as a Master’s degree from Georgia State University, and has done post graduate work at Emory University and Middle Tennessee State College.

Carolynn left her career as a full time educator to become more fully devoted to her art. She has studied with many internationally respected instructors.

Carolynn's art is inspired by her world travels. Her paintings may be found in private, public and commercial collections from Ecuador to Russia.

Carolynn is a past president of the Artists’ Atelier of Atlanta and the Georgia Watercolor Society, and has chaired the Georgia Watercolor Society Members’ show. She has served as an officer of the Atlanta Gallery Association Board of Directors and was named the 1999 Georgia Honorary Youth Artist by the Georgia Art Education Association. Numerous local, regional and national organizations claim Carolynn as an active and supportive member, as well as an insightful jurist.
