Born in Miami, Florida in 1969, Clifford Nolan Bailey has established himself as a remarkable American painter. From his youth, Bailey’s parents and teachers encouraged his artistic talents and he participated in numerous programs for children gifted in the arts during his childhood and teenage years. This experience and education combined with his natural talents earned him a place at the prestigious School of Visual Arts in New York City. Bailey graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1991 and set out to make his mark on the art world.

Bailey initially returned to Miami, where he took advantage of the night scene and displayed his intriguing and unique artwork at numerous nightclubs, pool halls, and boutiques for one night only. With such an exciting appeal, it was not long before dozens of local collectors and businesses began buying and promoting his work. Since then, Bailey has become something of a traveling artist. He has had literally scores of exhibitions around the country in cities including New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Birmingham, Atlanta, and Nashville, in addition to participating in numerous art festivals and group shows.

Bailey’s paintings have nearly universal appeal, as he skillfully blends the ambience of the Roaring Twenties, the glamour of the days of the Rat Pack, and his own modern style. Often sparse and dramatic, his large-scale artwork is eye-catching and interesting, bringing an exciting dynamic to private, public, and corporate collections across the United States.
