David Brownstead attended the prestigious Art School of Ohio University, in Athens, Ohio, graduating in 1978. Brownstead spent a life-changing summer in Italy, studying Renaissance art history, developing a lasting love for Italian Renaissance art, architecture, history, and culture. Davis's credits include many private and commemorative commissions including: U.S. Alpine Championship Ski Posters, Winter Jazz Festival (Two consecutive years), The American Ski Classic/Gerald Ford Ski Cup, Greenpeace Promational Images, and Numerous other Business, Corperate, and Humanitarian Commissions.
