Born and raised in southern California, David Harrington's love of art began at an early age. He found himself drawing on everything, which eventually led to a career in illustration. Harrington graduated from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, where he earned a bachelor's degree in fine arts with honors.

As a freelance illustrator for the last 27 years, David has created art for a wide variety of entertainment, advertising, packaging, and publishing companies including numerous children’s books. His client list includes Disney, Mattel, Warner Bros., MGM, Pepsi, Burger King, Random House, and Penguin Books.
