Dasil (David Silva), is a Mexican born fine art painter who has been living and working in Montreal since the spring of 2002. He is a self taught artist who has been painting professionally in parallel with his work in photography and television production.

Dasil has developed a rich and personal pictorial point of view. Whether working with acrylics, oils or inks, he presents imaginative figurative paintings, responding to a mix of influences ranging from Surrealism to Classicism, Fantastic, Allegoric and the Sacred.

Dasil is an award winning artist who is collected widely.
