Born in Tacna, Peru in 1971, Edgar Flores spent most of his childhood in the southern part of Peru. It was there that he taught himself to draw by studying the famous murals of Tacna. At the age of 16, Flores began attending the famed Escuela de Formacion Artistica Francisco Lazo. By 1990, Flores was attending the most important art school in Peru, the Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes, where he graduated with top honors. Edgar Flores has been featured in many prominent exhibits in and around Lima, Peru, and more of his work can be found in fine art stores around the world.
