Edward Russell Evans was born in Bexleyheath, Kent in the U.K. in 1939. He showed great artistic merit at a very early age and after a concentrated art education, Edward worked at the renowned Palace Theatre in Ramsgate, Kent where he was given the opportunity to show his skills in illustration for theatre publicity and in set and scenery painting. Over the course of the last two decades, Edward has focused on his professional art career and he has exhibited and sold his paintings all over the world. Gaining vast acclaim for his unparalleled talent, Edward has been commissioned to paint contemporary seascape and landscape subjects for a multitude of prominent buildings throughout the U.K. From his studio in Spain, Edward also produces some very fine works in still life, largely influenced by the Mediterranean fruits and flowers. In addition, from his home in South East Kent, Edward concentrates on landscape painting in Watercolor and Oils, capturing the beauty and the splendor of the "Garden of Kent."
