Born in Ukraine in 1958, Elena Roush is a Ukrainian-American fashion designer and artist. She obtained her M.A. degree at the Kiev Technological Light Industry Institute in 1982, as well as taking classes at the School of Arts directed by A. Godunov in Ukraine where she studied drawing and painting.

As a fashion designer, Roush worked for Kiev Fashion House as part of the designer group in which she created collections for Fashion shows in Kiev, Moscow, Paris, Munich, Tokyo and New York. As a painter, she has had a number of solo exhibitions both internationally, as well in the United States where she has been living since 2008.
