Emmanuel Schary

Born in 1924, Emmanuel Schary grew up in isreal and studied there before coming to the United States to attend the Carnegie Technical Institute of Fine Arts, the Art Students League and the Pratt Center of Contemporary Graphics, New York. He later returned to Isreal to teach art. In 1964, Schary was commissioned to design a work for the New York World's Fair Pavilion. Schary has exhibited his works at the Brooklyn Museum, Associated American Artists, New York. Museum collections include the Smithsonian Institution, Washington Washington D.C., National collection of the Fine Arts, Museum of Isreal, Jerusalem, and the Vatican museum, Rome.
