Erin Dertner first learned to paint from her mother, which unearthed a passion for the fine arts. After studying under a variety of teachers, Dertner was able to develop a unique painting style that is marked by the infusion of light. Extensive travel has also shaped Dertner’s paintings, and her trips to Greece, France, and Italy have had a profound impact on both the style and subject of her works. Besides displaying her works in numerous galleries across the country, Dertner also teaches painting workshops.
