Feodosy Mishenko was bon on September 13, 1938 in the village of Kuchinivka, in the Chernigov region of the U.S.S.R. After three years of mandatory military service, Mishenko moved to Leningrad, currently known as St. Petersburg and he studied Fine Arts at the Saint Petersburg Academy. The beauty of Saint Petersburg was a strong influence on the young Mishenko and he drew his inspiration from his surroundings. He has since moved back to his homeland and his artwork is displayed in prominent galleries throughout Europe and the United States.
