Born 1963 in Peru Gladys Morante’s passion for painting horses started at age 14 when she met a horse portrait painter. While an apprentice for the horse portrait painter her talents were quickly noticed and she was encouraged to join the School of Fine Arts where she eventually graduated with honors. Her work has been in numerous exhibits throughout North and South America but most notably the Embassy of Spain, and the Russian Cultural Institute.
