Gonsharenko was born in 1976 in the Kharkiv region. He studied at the Kharkiv Art College, department of graphic design. Most of his time he devoted to painting and especially landscape painting. He admired the beauty of native land and made a lot of sketches. The subject of his design work was painting. He continued with a degree in interior design, but after his studies Gonsharenko returned to landscape painting.
