Hava was born in Israel in 1962. In the late 70’s his family decided to move to the United States. He finally settled in New York and supported himself by playing clarinet in the local Jazz Clubs. Hava began working the spring and summer art shows and it was long before he began to be noticed for his intricate detail and beautiful landscape paintings. He had the full attention of the collectors and critics of New York. Later in his career, Hava moved west and began to represent his past and Middle Eastern culture in his work. He had always kept the memories of his place of birth close to him. "I use each day to bring my past to the lives of my children and all who appreciate my art", Hava.
