Heonhwa Choe, also known as Kilart, is a freelance illustrator from South Korea. He transitioned from a career in 3D animation at a TV animation company and later at NCSoft, a game company, to focus on digital painting and illustration. His work is known for its influence from Japanese game art and fantasy worlds, and he has developed his own unique style. He has worked with notable companies like Riot Games, Valve, Cygames, and Sideshow, creating pieces based on DC Comics and other franchises. He is currently working with Wizards of the Coast on Magic: the Gathering.
