Jaime Soncco was born in Peru in the ‘60s. His recent honor includes the winner of the VII Watercolor Contest and he has the distinction of being a member of the North American Peruvian Cultural Institute. His personal declaration is, “I paint because I need to express myself. Regardless of whether it is an abstraction or figuration, oil or watercolor, large or small paintings allow me to explore my interior world and find myself.”
