As a youth, Joe Bowden took various college courses but credits his mentor, Master Artist, Brad Bodkin and renowned Wildlife Artist, Robert Nip as having the greatest influence on his art. Bowden has worked as a graphic artist, illustrator and conceptual artist. At age 47, he went to the University of Texas where he majored in art and graduated Cum Laude at the top of his art class.
