Joe Sambataro was born in Philadelphia and attended the Philadelphia College of Arts. He went on to become an honor graduate of the Layton School of Art., and also studied at Marquette University and the University of Wisconsin. His oil paintings of scenes of golf courses, landscapes and seascapes, city scenes and wildlife are known throughout the world for his scenes of golf courses, landscapes and seascapes, city scenes and wildlife. He has studios throughout the U.S. and one in Okinawa, Japan.
