Jose Maniscalco was born in Tunis, in 1946. His Father, Tunisian of Italian origin, was a house painter. After classical secondary studies, he took lessons at the Maseille Fine Arts School. His brush is like a magic wand creating an enchanted world. In 1993 Maniscalco was commissioned by the New Melsa, one of the largest department stores in Tokoyo to design a series of four posters in Tokoyo to design a series of four posters that were displayed throughout Tokoyo. His art has been exhibited in Tokoyo, Fukuoka, Osaka and Orly.
