Larry Kaiser

Larry Kaiser was born in Indiana in 1937, and later attended Pan-American University in Texas where his majors were Fine Art and Creative Writing. After Texas, Larry attended Oregon State University where he received his Masters in Psychology. Larry then served three years in the U.S. Army as a first Lieutenant, spending a one year of his stint in Vietnam. While in the service, Larry painted a piece which the Defense Department printed and used as a promotional poster. Larry has held some interesting positions in his lifetime, also spending six years teaching in the California School System where he was nominated for the Teacher of the Year award. After his teaching years, Kaiser then went on to become a cartoonist for news station KRGB TV in Texas. Securing his title as a “master artist,” Larry can boast of a list of collectors that most can only dream of, Paul Newman, Julie Andrews, Bobby Rydell, three U.S. Presidents, and at least ninety-six U.S. Congressmen are past or present owners of Larry’s work. In addition, Kaiser recently painted two murals, the size of which combined is equal to half a football field, for Rockwell International, depicting the evolution of aviation.
