Greek-born artist Manol is an Impressionist master, using an inspired palette of rich pastels to create landscapes, rustic scenery and charming snapshots of village life. He studied not only at the Academy of Fine Arts in Athens, but also at the Associacao Pavlista de Belas Artes and the School of Stage Design in Brazil. Manol landed in the United States in the fall of 1965 to become a featured New York artist only a few years later. A true son of Greece, Manol was beloved in his hometown of Salonica in addition to being a widely recognized and well respected artist internationally.
