Marina Mirkovich comes from a very artistic family. She began experimenting with paints at a very early age. She was taken under the wing of her uncles early on and taught sketching painting. Mirkovich later received an education at the Belgrade school of Architecture, and went on to earn her Bachelors Degree from the University of Architecture in Belgrade. Like most painters her environment and inner feelings affect her creations. “Freedom is the art with a future making of a civilization untouched by permanent barriers.”
