Born on his family's farm in rural Ohio, Marv Brehm indeed was farm raised, only to realize as a youngster that he'd rather be an artist. After graduating from the Central Academy of Art in Cincinnati, Brehm headed west to attend the legendary Chouinard Art Academy in Los Angeles. He opened his Marv Brehm Studio after some years as a successful illustrator and designer, and to this day is known as an exemplary fine art painter and muralist. Brehm has enjoyed living in Huntington Beach with his wife, grown children and grandchildren for decades, splitting time between oceanfront living and country life on family property in Northern California's Los Molinos area.
