Born in Buenos Aires and influenced by the techniques and styles of the Masters, Wolf began painting at age eighteen. Later enrolling at the P. Pueyrredon National Fine Arts College, Wolf completed his formal education with an emphasis in landscapes, and won many “plein air” competitions. As evidenced by his works, Maximo Wolf has traveled extensively, and more of his paintings can be found in private collections around the world.
