Nick Andrews

Nick Andrews grew up “immersed in the landscape” in his home in Oxfordshire, England. Though his teachers complained that Andrews “lived in a world of [his] own,” this ability to daydream and paint pictures in his mind set him on the path to be the great artist that he is today. When Andrews was of age, he studied art extensively; he studied art and design at Oxford Brookes, graphic design at the London College of Printing, and fine art at Cheltenham College of Art. Andrews’s talents were quickly recognized. In 1983, he won the Lloyd Bank Young Printmaker Prize, which prompted him to focus solely on his painting career. Andrews’s paintings still show his love of nature, as he often paints colorful landscapes.

Along with being a painter, Andrews is also an art teacher, and he takes great joy in seeing his students develop as artists. Andrews has had many exhibitions of his own work in the United Kingdom, Europe, and the United States.
