Nina Galitskaia is the daughter of a university professor father and sculptor mother. She was raised in a very creative and intellectually challenging atmosphere. Nina grew up and she received a Masters of Fine Arts from the Academy of Fine and Theater Arts of Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, former Republic of the Soviet Union. Nina is very active in the art community and she is a member of the Saint-Petersburg Union of Artists, Union of Russian Artists and the International Academy of Humanities. In 1996, she was awarded a Grand-Prix of International Art Festival organized by the Hermitage Museum. Nina's work is widely exhibited in Russia and abroad and her artwork belongs to prominent public and private collections in Russia, Europe and North America.
