Artist Peter Tunney has led a varied life, and it's reflected in his art. Perusing Peter Tunney's art for sale, it's easy to see this Neo-Pop artist continued to evolve the Pop Art movement just as his career choices developed; he switched from child magician to auto salesman to investment banker to photograph curator. In the early 1990s, Tunney turned to creating his own art, influenced by painters such as Mel Bochner and Christopher Wool. Peter Tunney prints focus on the juxtaposition of text and images. He produces large collages with packaging materials, Polaroid photos, and newspaper clips that are overlaid with media-style phrases and gives them a positive Tunney twist that's a commentary on society. Well-known pieces from artist Peter Tunney include City of Dreams, The Time is Always Now, and Gratitude.
