Pierre Charles Bayle exhibited at the Salon des Grands et Jeunes d'Aujourd'hui in the 1980s. He specialises in sporting subjects treated in the style of 1930s advertising posters. He uses close-ups of tennis balls or footballs, exaggerates the scale of the figures in relation to their distance from the foreground, and uses unusual angles from above and below.
