Dimitry Yozepovitz's interest in painting surfaced at the tender age of eleven when he was accepted to the Academy for the Arts in his homeland of Ukraine. After immigrating to Israel in 1991, Dimitry attended both the Visual Arts Academy in Beer Sheva, and the renowned Bezalel Academy of the Arts and Design, where he won many awards and accolades for his academic and artistic achievements.

Dimitry's artistic ability is multi faceted: paintings, sculpture and video art. He elegantly and effortlessly moves between mediums and creates great work in all of them: landscape (both real and imaginary), portraits, objects, still-life and fantasies.

Dimitry's awards and accolades include: Selected Group Exhibitions 2002 Sharet Scholarship in Israel; American Culture Foundation 2000 Prize For Young Artists; Israel-American Colture Foundation 2000 Prize of Distinction; Betzalel, Jerusalem 1999 First Prize; Beer Sheva Selected Solo Exhibitions 2003 Still Life; Mitzpe Hayamim 2002 On The Way; Open Museum, Omer One Man Exhibitions.
