Having been raised in rural Northern Michigan as the daughter of a minister instilled ideas of simplicity and family values in Deneille Spohn Moes. These ideals are apparent in her colorful, endearing artwork. Deneille began painting at 16 after investing a dollar on a used set of oil paints at a rummage sale.

Deneille is known for her painstaking attention to detail; some of her images have taken as many as 4000 hours to produce. All of her paintings are unique and many are inspired by heartwarming stories. Her serigraphs have captured the color and detail, making the painting affordable for the collector, without compromising the art. Deneille has had no formal training of any kind and attributes her talent as a gift from God. We truly believe her unique talent will continue to draw collectors everywhere.
