Tamara Spolianski was born in Uzbekistan in 1951 and received her first drawing lessons at an early age from her father, the famous painter Gregory Spolianski. In 1975, she finished her art studies at the University of Tashkent and participated in a student art exhibition. The best artworks of that exhibition are still displayed in the main museum of Uzbekistan and the Museum for Eastern Culture, in Moscow. In 1980, Spolianski moved to Moscow and regularly participated in exhibitions around the Soviet Union. Then, in 1991, she moved to Israel, where she has exhibited in the American Consulate and various other distinguished venues around the country.
