Born in 1942 in Seoul, Korea, Jung could very well be called the "Eyes of the Millenium." This artist recently burst upon the art scene and already has captured the hearts of dozens of fortunate collectors worldwide. Graduating from Korea's Fine Arts School at Slaverl College, Jung possesses a universal style defining him as one of the great classicists of the new century.

His fascination with texture and form is evident in his beautiful oil paintings. The subjects, charming street scenes, lush gardens and quaint villages, are alluring, yet retain a sense of mystery and intrigue. The drama that occurs in his scenes is most apparent in his juxtaposition of light and shadows. Through his distinctive palette with its rich and verdant hues, the light seems to shimmer from the surface of the canvas. The artist's poignant style suggests a narration in which the viewer is invited to create and personalize the story.

In 1993 he moved to the United States where demand for his work steadily increased. His art has been exhibited at the Art Expo Las Vegas (1995), the Art Expo New York (1996) and in Fine Art Galleries throughout the United States.
