Floyd Drown has been painting pictures all his life, he is a multi-award winner over the years, and has been represented by galleries from Washington State to Florida. He attends the major art shows and participates in quick draws and auction events whenever possible. Many books, magazines, Christmas cards, post cards, etc. has viewed his work. Floyd is basically a self taught artist, who works in oils, watercolor, pencil, and gouache. Teaching art to serious students has brought a respect to the common man to help and promote the arts. In an ever changing world, the story of the early pioneers, Indians, mountain men, and even the modern day cowboy is the interest and art of Floyd Drown.
