JB Berkow has produced works of stunning realism and has been exhibiting her works for the last twenty-five years. Taking a unique form of richness and strength, her paintings show her high level of dedication to the art, values and contrast. JB’s ongoing method is to create images of man-made structures in a natural setting. Berkow feels that placing one against the other increases the beauty of both. JB Berkow states that her love for painting European scenes comes from how she was raised. Moving to America when she was 15, JB's mother continued to retain her European heritage into adulthood and brought her up in manner which stayed true to European tradidtion. JB Berkow’s work has such an overwhelming sense of reality that it seems as though one is able to enter her scenes by just walking into the canvas.
