An emergent artist with lots of talent, Quispe Malca Gilmer is widely regarded to be one of the most promising talents to come from South America in many years. His specialty is the antiquing technique he studied in the Ateliers of master artists Bartolome Luzanquis, Edilmer Sanchez, and Jorge Arribasplata. Born in the Peruvian countryside, Gilmer comes from a family of artists; Quispe’s uncle is the famous poet Demetrio Quiroz Malca.
