Born in Shiraz, Persia in 1976, Raha Lane was raised in a creative family, surrounded by painters and authors her entire youth. Trained in painting from a young age, Lane continued her art as a side project while earning her degree as a Bachelor of Science with a concentration in English Literature from Tehran’s Azad University. After graduating, Lane realized her artistic passions and traveled in Europe, studying painting in Italy and France. To further her art education, Lane moved to the United States and was awarded a full scholarship to the San Francisco Academy of Fine Art.

Lane developed her own style while studying in San Francisco, melding dreamy landscapes with subtle imagery and details and blended tones and colors of her own creation. Her art is collected throughout the United States, as well as in Europe and the Middle East.
