Robert Charon grew up in Phoenix, Arizona. By the time he was twelve he had his first private show at a local library. His passion for art continued through his High School years, and he earned art scholarships to colleges in both Utah and Arizona. Charon spent two years in Taiwan, where he became fond of oriental tradition and art. His travels have had a strong influence on his artwork.
