Roy Miller

Roy Miller has been a professional commercial artist since he was 14-years-old, but still attended the Manchester College of Art to help perfect his technique. In the early 1960s, Miller moved to London to work as a freelance illustrator. Visiting a racecourse in 1972 marked a turning point in Miller’s career; he was inspired by the majesty and brilliance of the racing horses. Within three years, Miller became a full-time equestrian artist of international renown. Miller is a member of the Society of Equestrian Artists and American Academy of Equine Art, and has accepted commissions from the Royal Hong Kong Jockey Club, the Coaching Cub of Great Britain, and United Racecourses. The queen of England also has one of Miller’s paintings in her private collection.
