Sarah Brown lives in Atlanta, GA. She graduated from the Art Institute of Chicago and University of Chicago: Bachelor of Fine Arts, 1957 and graduated with Honors in Figure Drawing.

After college she continued her art education by taking several different art classes, including print making, etching, and watercolor, at various Universities throughout the Southeast.

Brown has also been an educator of the arts. As acting Art Director of Pensacola Florida Adult Vocational School, Art Director from 1958-59 and taught ceramics at Pensacola Junior College in 1959.

Brown is a member of many prestigious art organizations. She has received many honors and recognitions throughout her career, including "Who's Who In Art" and "Who's Who In the World." Her artwork is featured in galleries throughout the Southeast and Oregon.
