Arthur Sharafian, "Sharaf" was born in 1972 in Armenia. He studied painting at the Yerevan State College of Fine Arts in Armenia. While in School, he participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions organized by the Union of Painters of both Armenia and Russia. His use of color and the female form has been compared to that of, French artist, Degas. However, his technique and style is completely unique to his body of work. Currently, Sharaf's paintings are being exhibited in Armenia's, "First Floor" art gallery as well as art galleries and private collections in Spain, England, France, China, and the United States.
