Born in Walker in Newcastle upon Tyne, England, Terry Donnelly was recognized for his artistic skills at a young age. When he was 15 years old, he was one of only three boys to be selected to take the entrance exams for the Jesmond College of Art and Industrial Design in Newcastle. After successfully passing the exam, Donnelly began studying art full time before becoming a designer. He worked in several architects’ offices and design studios before he decided to devote himself fully to painting. While his most popular pieces are landscapes and cityscapes in watercolor and oil, Donnelly has been commissioned for a wide range of artwork, including wildlife and portraits in many mediums.
