V. Doroshenko was born in 1956 in the historic city of Chernigo, U.S.S.R. She graduated from the National Academy of Art and Architecture in 1987 and she worked for many years in the Chernigov Architecture Reserve as a restorer. She actively participates in the restoration of historical buildings in many of Russia's cities and she enjoys painting portraits, landscapes, and still life.
